About the Role
Are you passionate about mental health and helping to educate others? Do you have lived experience of caring for a person with a mental illness or psychosocial disability? Do you get excited about training other carers and enhancing their capacity to care for their loved ones and look after their own wellbeing?
We are excited to announce that we are seeking a casual Carer Peer Trainer with lived experience!
As Carer Peer Trainer, you will provide carer peer experience in the planning, research, design, review, and evaluation of new and existing training sessions as part of MHCN’s training and education program for mental health carers and stakeholders, and development of further training sessions and other relevant activities.
